The Y offers both land-based and water-based for designed specifically for older adults. These classes are designed to help seniors stay stronger, longer and feel all the benefits of exercise, including:
- Reduced risk of heart disease, diabetes and many other diseases.
- Reduced pain.
- Increased muscular strength, flexibility and balance.
- Lower chance of depression symptoms.
- General improvement in quality of life.
All classes are taught by YMCA-certified instructors.
